Nomination or Application — Submit your credentials or be nominated by a member to join AOK or receive an AOK award.
Board Review — Each submission is carefully evaluated and researched.
Formal Recognition — Accepted members and award recipients receive a Letter of Recognition with the AOK Seal.
Digital Seal — Granted permission to display the exclusive AOK Digital Seal on your website or promotional materials.

Criteria for Acceptance
Membership and awards are gained by nomination or direct application, followed by a meticulous review by the AOK Board. All applicants must demonstrate:
Impact & Influence — A platform, body of work, or contribution that has shaped ethical BDSM or kink-affirming practices.
Service & Advocacy — Proven commitment to education, consent, inclusion, and safety in the community.
Exemplary Reputation — Respected standing for integrity and professionalism.
Proactive Leadership — Ongoing efforts to grow, support, or elevate the kink and fetish culture.
Who May Apply: Psychologists, dominants, submissives, authors, performers, educators, artists, and advocates whose work aligns with AOK’s principles.
